Mr. Homans' thirty-five years of experience in acoustics spans positions with IIT Research Institute, the Chicago Department of Environmental Control and the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). During this period, he has authored and contributed to a number of technical reports, papers and presentations.

Projects to which he has contributed has included prediction of vehicle noise levels from diffuse field measurements, airport, traffic, rail and construction noise surveys and helicopter noise prediction.
